Driven by a cause that our family is so passionate about, we wanted to extend the same values and ethics to everyone connected to us. Growing up, cow-seva has been a huge part of our upbringing. On the flip side, seeing the number of cows and bulls being sent to slaughter houses was extremely overwhelming. 

Beyond Milk was born from a thought of growing what was started as a Gaushala of 3 Gir cows in 2011. Today we have grown our cow family to more than 300, where every single one is nurtured individually.

We want to spread the awareness of Gir cow-seva through lifestyle enhancing products made at our Gaushala. Every product has been well researched and created using knowledge from Vedic recipes blended with today’s needs. We have several families working passionately at the Gaushala for the greater good of society.

About us.

At Beyond Milk, we’re constantly creating lifestyle enhancing personal care and home care products by upcycling Gir cow waste.

Gir cow is a famous Indian-born cattle breed native to the Gir forest, whose hump is a power house of gold producing salts in its blood. Such salts are present in the milk, urine and dung of the cow that make these by-products so popular in Ayurveda.

Design is our tool that we use to make the best out waste, which makes us a waste economy, that works on a simple formula:-

Our mission.

We want to build a community of individuals and institutes to come together to join the seva. A seva that extends its goodness towards farmer education, environment and poverty.

We want to celebrate the richness of Indian culture and bring back the magic of Ayurveda to the world. All our products are made using cow waste added with herbal ingredients that are planet friendly. We want to be a part of each individual’s life in some capacity through our products.

Driven by a strong ethics and value system, quality is of utmost importance and we ensure that our cows and bulls are well fed and protected.

Most agarbattis are made of bamboo. Burning bamboo is harmful for the environment and us. Trees are cut to provide for raw material needed to make agarbattis. Every agarbatti you light releases carcenogenic fumes that can have adverse health impact. Burning bamboo is not sustainable for us in the long run.

Decoding Panchagavya

The five by-products of the Gir cow are collectively known as Panchgavya.

A2 MILK
A2 milk derived from the Gir cow is rich in nutrients and contains A2 beta casein protein which is good for health.
COW URINE
Very useful in preventing diseases, the Gir cow urine helps to purify the body and keep the mind calm. It also has the properties to destroy the cancer virus.
COW DUNG
Gir cow dung is rich in nitrogen, potassium, copper, phosphorus, irons manganese, cobalt sulphate and sodium. This makes it an excellent fertilizer and on burning, it reduces the bacteria levels in the air.
A2 CURD
A2 curd is rich in calcium, vitamins and minerals which helps in brain development and overall growth of the body.
A2 GHEE
A2 ghee is a powerhouse of anti-oxidants. When consumed, it boosts immuity, helps in digestion and reduces inflammation in the body.
